1983 - Super Heroes - Which Way Books
The first two books were written by DC Comics' editor and writer Andrew Helfer. Helfer picked up the 1980s revamp of The Shadow from Howard Chaykin and would go on to edit DeMatteis, Giffen, and Maguire's Justice League.
I remember the "choose your own adventure" books being incredibly popular I'm going to say from around 1982-85 and pretty much every major license except possibly Star Wars had their own version. I think the rarer ones are fairly collectible.
